Στην πρώτη αυτή ενότητα του διαδικτυακού μαθήματος, ξεκινάμε με τον ορισμό της δημοκρατίας, την κατανόηση της ιστορίας της και τον τρόπο με τον οποίο η δημοκρατία καθιερώθηκε στην Ευρώπη. Παράλληλα, εξετάζουμε θέματα που συνδέονται με τη δημοκρατία, όπως η συμμετοχή και τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα.
Η δημοκρατία αντιμετωπίζει προκλήσεις, και η ενότητα αυτή θα μας εισαγάγει στις σημαντικότερες από αυτές.
Ολοκληρώνουμε την ενότητα με την ανάλυση της συμμετοχής των νέων ανθρώπων στις δημοκρατικές κοινωνίες.

En este primer módulo del curso en línea, comenzamos definiendo la democracia, comprendiendo su historia y cómo se implantó en Europa. También abordamos temas relacionados con la democracia, como la participación y los derechos humanos.
La democracia tiene problemas, y este módulo nos presentará los más actuales.
Concluimos el módulo analizando la participación de los jóvenes en las sociedades democráticas.

Im ersten Modul des Online-Kurses beginnen wir damit, Demokratie zu definieren, ihre Geschichte zu verstehen und nachzuvollziehen, wie sie in Europa entstanden ist. Außerdem befassen wir uns mit Themen, die mit Demokratie verbunden sind – Partizipation und Menschenrechte.
Die Demokratie weist Probleme auf, und dieses Modul stellt die wichtigsten vor.
Zum Abschluss analysieren wir die Beteiligung junger Menschen in demokratischen Gesellschaften.

In this first module of the online course, we start with defining democracy, understanding the history of democracy and how democracy became present in Europe. We also tackle the topics connected to democracy – participation and human rights.
Democracy has problems, and this module will introduce us to the most present ones.
We conclude the module by analysing the participation of young people in democratic societies.
